Have you ever feel as a child who refused to grow up? It seems like
you are fixated at your good old teen or young adult years.
I may not say we refuse to grow up, but we live to our fullness. One
time, at the dinner, my teen daughter said this:-"Peb yuav tsum sib
ceg luag ntxhi xwb nawb."...Hahaha everyone laugh, such humor makes me
think twice before getting mad at them. Another time, I asked my wife
to take care of the business while I was doing something else, she
asked back:-"What does a million dollars mean?" We all bursted of
laugh, it seems like she doesn't care much about money, as long as she
can stay closed to me, that's all it counts. Another time, I told her
not to call me during an important meeting with a high official and at
the middle of it, she did it. What was it for? Nothing "I just call to
say, I love you". She is funny, we went visit her parents, back in
Laos for the first time, she spent more time with me than with her
parents and relatives; giving me no chance at all. Hehehe...I'm dead!

How is she taking all these or she is just sailing along with you in
the blue sea of love?
You may think she is immature and naive, but not at all. What I have
said was only about family relationship. About the community, it is
another story; she is a role model, a decision maker, a provider. She
is an expert on Hmong PajNtaub, she can talk all day long about
colors, tastes, hmoob tshiab, hmoob laug, hmoob txaij, hmoob
Moospheeb, hmoob loojhej.... Best of her is that she will never gossip
and curse, her anger can be seen through tears only. The kids would be
all quiet and behave themselve like angels when seeing so.
