Words had reached me the other day that some Hmong leaders across the
country will host their national meeting on 9/8/07 to select their new
Hmong national leaders. The new leaders will come up with solutions to
solve the Hmong problems worldwide and will also look into other
Hmong domestic issues like VP's case.

According to my sources, there will be competition among many Hmong
intellectuals including Dr. Tony Vang, Peter Vang, Dr. Christopher
Vang, Dr. Charles Chue Vang, Mr. Wa Her Vang, All Hmong and Lao
veterans leaders: Mr Yang Chee, Col. Vang Yee, Mr. Lee Neng, Col. Moua
Gao, and other Human rights leaders included Laura Xiong, Kou Xiong,
Lao Human Rights Watch, Chue Hue Xiong, etc...

Some people believed that the top leadership role will have to belong
to a Vang clan. Dr. Tony Vang may not be a good choice due to the fact
that his last leadership in the Lao Family in Fresno that distant
himself from the VP inner circle. The two remain persons that will
fight for the seat will be Mr. Peter Vang and Dr. Charlies Chue Vang
who are very closed to Gen. Vang Pao.
