Re: Senator Feingold's Prompt Action on Hmong Refugees crisis in Thailand

When was the last time you wrote to your senator regarding Hmong
issues? Do you really think these "SENATORS" really care about your
people? Beleive it or not, these senators care only about their own
pockets and what it'll take to keep their position. Sure, they give
out great speeches, but great speeches is all they're trained to do.
Ever since I realized the genocide of my people and how they were
being used like hunting dogs from china to Laos, pitted hmong against
hmong, brothers against brothers. Ask yourself, do hmong have real
friends?

Wow....why blame it on other while you have not tried hard enought to
find the real generators of the problem? Who would want to be the
Hmong people's friend when Hmong can not even be friend among
themselves? Have you noticed the behavior of the Hmong here in
America? I mean some of them?

You have to really get involved in this particular issue before you
know where the problem came from. Do you know that the problem
generated from all parties? That mean all parties involved must sit
down on the table and willing to work on it, or else, the Hmong will
continue to die......yes, "genocide" will be inevitable...so, stop
blaming others for not being your friend, but learn how to be friend
with them before they want to help.....

Who would want to be your friends if all you do is complain and fuss
at them?

So before you come in here preaching to us to write to our
senators, ask yourself what have these senators accomplished for
Hmong?

Why dont you ask yourself what have you done to convince them to
believe in you? If I were the Senators, I wouldn't waste my time with
the issues that I don't believe is real.....so, it's your
responsibility to convince them, ....tsis yog niaj hnub muab luag cem
hais tias rov taw tuam ntuj, ua noj nyiaj, cheese nej cov ntawm koj
mas, kuv yog US Senators los kuv yeej tsis thab li os. Yog xav kom kuv
pab ces ua zoo thov nawb, ua zoo hais kom kuv pab hlub mas kuv thiaj
yuav nrog daws teeb meem nawb. Ua cas nej cov Hmoob no es, yuav xaib
xiv ua luaj? Luag haujlwm txhim kho luag lub tebchaws rau peb nyob no,
twb ntau li ntau es, Hmoob tej issue ntawd tsis yog luag qhov
priority. Tabsi yog yus ua zoo hais lawm, luag yuav tig pob ntseg
mloog xwb nav.

We can not count on others to solve our problems, we MUST
count on ourselves to solve our own problem!

Ah...they left the problem for Hmong to solve it for the last thirty-
two years and now see what happen? Txawm yog qhov tsis pom hais tias
lwm tus yuav pab tau. Luag twb hais tias, Don't do this, los yog tseem
hais tias it's my problem, let me take care of all by myself. no es,
tam sim no thiaj muaj teeb meem li ntag lau.

Txhob xav hais tias qhov problem no ces Hmoob solve xwb yuav tau nawb,
brother. Yog tus America, Thaib and Nplog tsis work together nrog
Hmoob mas, I tell you that a blood shed will happen..I mean
Genocide....This is not a minor problem that Hmong alone can solve it.

How do we start? We
start by beleiving in our people that we too can solve our own problem
w/out outside help. We MUST start mobilizing our educated youngs to
help us. Reach out to them for help. They're born here, they
understand the people and know the resources here. They udnerstand how
politic is play here. However, above all else....Learn to place our
HMONG name above our clans based system. When Hmong see Hmong as HMONG
first, Hmong can do anything.

Because you started with the wrong move. Do you realize that the
problem also started from within? No further question for you, if you
don't realize your own (Hmong) problem.

Dear friends,

Please do your part and keep on writing to your US Senators and
Congressmen, request for their help to rescue our brothers and sisters
who are trapping inside the detention center in Thailand. Without the
US Government's intervention, our brothers and sisters will be forced
to return without justice.

Thanks to Senator Feingold's staffer in DC for spending her valuable
time with us on July 12.
