I would rather look at the picture [meaning] of the word to decide whether
to combine those words together or not, rather than making a rule that will
not be consistent with every situation. If we are to use your rule of only
combining words together when there is a tone maker in between the two
words, then how would you explain the inconsistency of zoo sab, khua sab,
chimsab, nyuajsab, kaajsab, ntxhuvsab, sabntev, sabluj, etc. etc. etc.? All
those words other than the sab are all adjective, but why do we not treat
them all the same? Because you write chimsab, ntxhuvsab, sabluj, etc.
connect together, that would mean you will have to have each of those words
as a separate entries in the dictionary, however you will not have zoo sab
and khua sab because they are two different words.

What about the word uake? In my limited understanding, uake suppose to mean
together. However, if we have to write ua ke because it was not uamke,
uajke, uavke, etc. then would that not defeating the purpose of the meaning
of the word? How can it mean together if we don't write it together? Uake
is not ua kem is it? Do we write together as to gether? to get her?

Is a pen really a pen? What is a pen? A pen is, a pen is...or is it a
penis? What are the different meanings in each of those writings? So
again, I would look at the total picture of the word first, then go from
there.
