A little taste of home in Seattle

Meh.

The color of the sky is different.
And the trades ... where dey steh?
And MAN, it's COLD outside!
There was a bit of snow the day before I flew in.
Only time I've seen weather like this, it was on top of Mauna Kea.

For those who don't know, I'm now working for a certain rather large
company in the Redmond/Bellevue are of Washington state. My parents
love it because they can now drive a few hours compared to flying a
few hours, in order to see me. And yes, it's a significant increase
in salary.

But to the topic:

I've found the Lynnwood L&L Drivein location (aka "Hawaiian Barbeque"),
and I also saw a place called, "Bobby's Hawaiian" on a TV show called,
"Diners, Drive-inns and Dives", on the Food Network last night, and I
heard from a friend about some Hawaiian Music also last night, but a
number of Ooopses on my part (plus a massive Xbox session of Halo 3
combat at work for Pau Hana) led to me missing that engagement.

And also, man, I'm tired after work, and my allergies are back! Probably
no small connection there; need to get some meds for that, oi.

Distracted. Where was I? Oh yeah.

So I guess the point is, are there any other places group members know
of to soothe the soul of the latest memeber of the Local Kine Diaspora?

Aloha mai Nai`a!
