As for Republicans, why should they change their
message? It's working. I'd like to see the people not
fall for it as much as they have. Everywhere, not
just the South.

Then I guess I'll have to give you credit that you have
noticed that Tancredo's message on illegal immigrants
rings so many facistican bells.

"fascistican" - hmmm...no have in my dictionary. Alvin - so in what
dictionary do I find this word defined? Or is this just another thing that
exists solely in that wonderful, sureal, unique world of yours? Care to
offer any links to a definition in one of the many online dictionaries?
Dollar to donuts you don't - because you can't! And why can't you?
Simple - this word's definition exists only in that fantastic world of
yours shared by no one else.

It's a pretty typical
message starting from Reagan. The south understands so
well. They're all Republicans now.

hmmm...would that include - among others - folks like Edwards (North
Carolina), Clinton William (Arkansas), Webb (Virginia), Landrieu
(Louisiana), Lincoln (Arkansas), Nelson Bill (Florida), Pyor (Arkansas),
Cramer (Alabama), Davis (Alabama), Berry (Arkansas), Synder (Arkansas),
Ross
(Arkansas), Boyd (Florida), Brown (Florida), Davis (Florida), Meek
(Florida), Wexler (Florida), Schultz(Florida), Hastings (Florida), Bishop
(Georgia), Marshall (Georgia), McKinney (Georgia), Lewis (Georgia), Barrow
(Georgia), Jefferson (Louisiana), Melancon (Louisiana), Butterfield (North

It's not a thing of
the past, because the past is now in the South. Johnson
understood the outcome of the Democrats shift in
supporting integration and desegregation. It has been
solidly supported in Hawaii-- so many of us having
visited or traveled there.

BTW, Waianae is really not that bad. I think that the
main problem is poverty out there. So many young single
women are raising their kids by themselves.

So why, Alvin, "So many young single women are raising their kids by
themselves" out in Waianae? That many divorce cases in Waianae? Plenty
young widows? Or too many out of wedlock births? If the latter, then a)
where o where are the fathers? And b) how come in this day and age no
good,
effective birth control/sex education? Please clarify, you in your
typical
style not at all explaining why "So many young single women are raising
their kids by themselves".

We really
need to get back to a hanai system where the extended
family can take care of the kid. Grandparents, and
uncles or aunts have no rights under our system.

Why let all the young folks have all the "fun" and the extended family pick
up the responsibility/consequences of all that "fun"? Where in this
grandiose scheme of yours are those responsible in the very first place for
those kids reponsible for their own actions in creating those kids? Sounds
to me - you not arguing or even indicating otherwise - you're in favor of
giving those young folks a free pass to have even more kids for the
extended
family to care and raise.

Why
break something that works? Don't think that the
forster child program is working too well either. Jerry
worries about parents that don't care? I'm sure that
not all forster parents are like that, but.... I
applaud the DOE for lobbying for pre-school care in the
schools. As Hillary says, it takes a villiage to raise
a kid.
