[moderators note: a gentle reminder to the participants of spirited topics:
pls keep the subject Hawaii, not the posters. Of course you don't have to
live in Hawaii in order to post here. Also, please don't top post, and
trim quoted stuff to a minimum. Thanks! Sharon - co-moderator]
Outed myself? Me being a troll?
If anyone is a troll, it sure seems to be you.
I never saw a posting of yours in this NG ever.
Why don't you read the previous posts to this NG first, before calling a
poster a troll.
It sure sounds like, you are familiar with "outing", maybe you are one of
those guys, that got "outed" in the past.
YOU must be a newcomer to this group.
In several of my previous postings to this group, did I mention, that I live
in Southern California.
Sometimes I compare things between here and the Islands, to give the folks
in Hawaii some different perspective.
For example, recently some Hawaiian poster complained about the high gas
prices on the Islands.
I replied, consoling him, that we are paying the same prices here in
Southern California.
I never ever stated, that I live on the Islands.
Although, I sure would not mind living there.
But you folks don't need another mainlander crowding your small Islands.
And besides, are you making new rules now, who can post to this group and
who can't?
Where does it say, that only Hawaiian residents can post to this group?
The reason why I pounced on the subject of schooling is the fact, that a
good friend of mine,
who lives on the Islands, was confronted with the decision, whether to send
his kids to a private elementary school or to a state sponsered elementary
school
And the fact, that in California, elementary schools/fire depts/police are
paid with property taxes, is beside the point.
My posting was about the excessive fees that private elementary schools
charge, and that it is pathetic, that parents even have to consider, whether
to send their kids to a state sponsered school or to a private school.
So, my dear "outed" cow, why don't you just go back to your closet?

After all, what are we paying our property taxes for?
Huh, guess you just outed yourself as not being from Hawaii. Everyone
here knows that our property taxes don't go toward education. Sounds
like you're just trolling.
