Are we now generating all of our electricity using

Of course not. But more than any other president, he
realized the importance of energy, he understood it,
he meant to do something about it, and accomplished
it.

What does that mean? 1% more, 10$ more, 50% more?

When it comes to energy policy, Carter was best, by
far.

Depends on what your definition of best is.

He means that Carter met his goals whatever they were.
A lot of R&D also got started during that time on
alternative sources and sustaining technologies. But
his main accomplishment was in reducing consumption--
conservation.

I see, set a goal that no one knows what it is, and then you can say, I
met
my goals????? And that sure did us a whole lot of good didn't it?
