But I guess it's become a new problem since I was in
school. We all did cafeteria duty during the school
year. It was a nice change of pace, and a free lunch
with double scoops if you wanted it. In fact, many of
our class reunions feature the beloved cafeteria
manager and workers as well as the teachers as guests.
Now that is a thought, why not have them do cafeteria duty, to earn their
lunch? They wouldn't have to do it every day, maybe just once a week...
Thought I suspect there would be someone who would say something like "but
that is slave labor", or "it violates child labor laws", or something
else....
