Heck, after 30 years of "contact", I learned only this year that 'ahi'
is actually a Japanese word, not Hawaiian. Or was that 'aku'. Aw, you
know, that fish... the one they are actually mentioning on the mainland
now.

Of course, we all know that 'sushi' means 'raw fish'...

Would it be possible to say it was an American name?
