Hawaiian Recongnition
I wonder if any of you have given any thought to what I see is a
disconnect.
Our Senators, and our local news organizations tell me that if the Akaka
Bill passes, then Kamehameha does not have to worry about violating the
discrimination laws. To begin with, my question is, why should we
applaud
the fact that anyone can violate the anti-discrimination laws of the
United
States. Second, why should our Senators, who I believe strongly
supports
the anti-discrimiantion laws of the United States support having an
entitry
withing the United States which can legally discrimiante against
someone.
