Double nationalit, la boite surprise

The U.S. government could care less if someone has a passport from
another country...as long as one continues to pay taxes at home and
doesn't officially renounce their American Nationality. Why are we
Haitians still barking loudly about National Pride vis-a-vis
"nationality" when in truth we have very little pride about our Nation
and our People? Now I can understand a politician having a position of
leadership that shoudl not be coerced or influenced by extra-national
(foreign) interests...however, this type of with-hunt is clearly
another sad case of personal vendetta, rather than about Nationality.
Wanna talk about dual citizenship? Then Senators, please talk about
dual citizenship in the broad sense. Other wise, shut the hell up! It
ridiculous to continue to chase everyone outta town and wonder why
there is little interest in domestic product...

This is part of our complicated and painful past, but the way I see it
is this:
a politician at home is indicting the hypocrisy of the Haitian elite
because
said elite derailed the candidacy of that Simeus guy who wanted to be
president in 2006, and here is the same elite going through hoops to
procure Haitian citizenship for Boulos who is clearly an American.

...but, my God, Mr. Boulos...what a dumb ass answer saying you own a
business in the DR and have nationality...

He said "Residency", NOT Nationality. Boulos is obviously an
opportunist who
should resign because he is a "faux", but why are local Haitian
politicians so
afraid of the Diaspora?

whatever happened to
Diplomacy? Honor? Pride? I agree; Me. Boulous devrais se
demissioner....

Actually, there is a current Boulos interview in SCH regarding more
important matter,
he comes across as a very intelligent fellow, I understand why he may
be a threat
to insecure local politicians.
