BTW, a century old Hindu temple was razed in Muslim Malaysia a few days
ago. I hope the Hindus leave Malaysia if they are unhappy over the

even bring in their Bible or Bhagavad-Gita. So there is no ground for
unhappiness at all.

Back to Greece. It is indeed very unfair of the Greek Govt to follow the
Saudi example of not allowing foreign religious edifices.

Here there is a small "detail" which is not said but makes a big difference!
The Muslims of Athens are *NOT* Greek citizens but *IMMIGRANTS* who came in
Greece in the last years to seek a better life.
So we can not talk about any "obligation" of the Greek state to have a
mosque.

OTOH, I believe that even if they are not Greek citizens they must have a
decent place to pray, so I am for the construction of a mosque in Athens.
And as wisely the Greek government said, it will be funded by the Greek
state and not from some Muslim country...
