Shut up you dissembling liar.
Everyone knows that you are a holocaust denier because you will not recognise the premeditated massacres of Christians by the Turks as genocide.
I am perfectly happy to use the term "massacre". As Agamemnon knows, I have used this term myself.
It was GENOCIDE.
I do not feel comfortable using the term "genocide", because I feel that this has more than an undertone of a deliberate attempt to murder an entire ethnic grouping (e.g. if it had been Turkish policy to murder every single Greek anywhere).
Holocaust denier.
Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide
Approved and proposed for signature and ratification or accession by General Assembly resolution 260 A (III) of 9 December 1948 entry into force 12 January 1951, in accordance with article XIII status of ratifications, reservations and declarations.
The Contracting Parties,
Having considered the declaration made by the General Assembly of the United Nations in its resolution 96 (I) dated 11 December 1946 that genocide is a crime under international law, contrary to the spirit and aims of the United Nations and condemned by the civilized world,
Recognizing that at all periods of history genocide has inflicted great losses on humanity, and
Being convinced that, in order to liberate mankind from such an odious scourge, international co-operation is required,
Hereby agree as hereinafter provided:
Article 1
The Contracting Parties confirm that genocide, whether committed in time of peace or in time of war, is a crime under international law which they undertake to prevent and to punish.
Article 2
In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:
(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.
If this is the 'official' definition of genocide then allow me to make two points:
(1) I do not feel this is a particularly good definitions (for reasons that I have given often enough, but will probably have to repeat specifically for the benefit of Agamemnon and Mhtsos),
Ah yes. Your reasons being that the term genocide can only be applied to the massacre of Jews because they are gods one and only chosen people and everyone else is impure and not deserving to share gods creation with them.
Just as I thought: I shall have to repeat myself for the benefit of Agamemnon.
Here goes:
"I do not feel comfortable using the term "genocide", because I feel that this has more than an undertone of a deliberate attempt to murder an entire ethnic grouping"
And once again you repeat your holocaust denials. Over 10 million Christians were deliberately murdered by the Turks in Asia-Minor which equates to the planned genocide to 99% of the Christian population who were there for thousands of years before the Turks set foot there. Muslims were debatably incited to murder Christians just because they were Christians and Turks were incited to murder all non Turks. The Christian Genocide was worse that the Jewish holocaust by Hitler not only because it was far greater in number and more successful in exterminating the Christian presence but because almost every Turk and Turkish family took part in the perpetration of the murders.
Let's have a little laugh at Agamemnon's expense - again:
"the Christian population who were there for thousands of years"
How many "thousands of years", Agamemnon? Nearly two, maybe?
3.5 thousand.
Other than that, I don't think I'll bother to repeat myself on the subject of 'denials' yet again, not even for the benefit of the admittedly rather slow Agamemnon. To do so would obviously be a complete waste of time: Agamemnon would just continue to persevere in his silly little lies..
Still predictable as ever you holocaust denier.
