The United States President extended an official invitation to Turkish
Cypriot
President Mehmet Ali Talat on Monday to hold talks with U.S. Secretary
of State Condoleezza Rice on Oct. 28
Talat will head to Washington on Oct. 26. Officials at his office
said he would also have a meeting with U.N.
Secretary-General Kofi Annan during his stay in the United States.
