If you mean the main station (Hauptbahnhof), I would say that is a bit of a long walk to the castle. Fortunately the public transport is quite good, you would can plan here: http://www.vrn.de/
What to see within 4 hours in Heidelberg:
- the Old Bridge (Alte Brücke)
- The student's prison (Karzer)
- shopping on main street (Hauptstrasse, aka tourist racing track)
- If you feel the need for a meal, a coffee or a beer, check this guide for example (quite out of date, but might still help a bit)
