Survey of French Business Culture by a Student.

Hi people,
I am a student at Australian College of Business & Technology (ACBT)
(http://www.acbt.net) in Colombo, Sri Lanka. For an assignment in my
Business Culture course, I am a carrying out a survey of business
culture of Sri Lanka and France to make a comparison/contrast. I have
posted the questionnaire below in this message.
Anyone currently living and working in corporate France please respong.

QUESTIONAIRE
1. You are riding in a car driven by a close friend. He hits a
pedestrian. You know he was going at 60 km/hr in an area in the city
where the speed limit is 40 km/hr. There are no witnesses. His lawyer
says that if you testify under oath that he was driving at only 40
km/hr it may save him from serious consequences. What would you do in
view of obligations of a sworn witness and the obligation to your
friend?
a) Testify that he was going at 40 km/ hr.
b) Not testify that he was going at 40 km/hr.
2. You are a doctor for an insurance company. You examine a close
friend you know needs more insurance, but you are doubtful of one or
two points which are difficult to diagnose. Would you help your friend
considering the obligations towards your insurance company and your
obligations to your friend?
a) Yes.
b) No.
3. You work for a travel agency and you are reviewing a small company
providing guided tours of rain forests. The owner is a very good friend
of yours and has sunk all his saving in the company. Even though you
think the service lacks content, would you write a good review,
considering your obligations to your agency and the obligations towards
your friend?

4. Your boss insulted you saying your work is not good. What would be
your response? (You have worked very hard.)
a) You will ask your boss where you're wrong and show him that you
are hurt.

you think that at work:

10. A defect is discovered in one of the installations. It was caused
by the negligence of a member of a team. Responsibility of this mistake
can be carried in different ways. Which statement do you agree with?
a) The person who caused the mistake is the one responsible.
b) Because he/she works in a team the responsibility should be carried
by the whole team.
11. Two people are discussing ways in which individuals can improve the
quality of life. Select the statement you agree with.
a) "It is obvious that if individuals have as much as freedom as
possible and the maximum opportunity to develop themselves, the quality
of their life will improve as a result".
b) "If individuals are continuously taking care of their fellow human

20. If a colleague proposes an inappropriate idea for a certain
campaign you are not comfortable with, would you:
