There must be something more to this story than first appears.

Its very strange that they found the child porn on these guy's laptop
computer during a "routine" search. Customs officers wouldn't
routinely search a laptop computer's hard drive unless they had some
good reasons to be suspicious.

perhaps they used wireless router to distribute or receive from Canada
- thus tipping off the customs folks.
