YEHOVAH SAYS WOMEN SHOULD NEVER BE IN POSITIONS OF AUTHORITY OVER MEN
You are quoting scriptures, texts, words written my humans and not by
any God him/herself. Such writings have very little to do with issues
of modern times and are based on the philosophy and ideals of the
author living in a vastly different situation thousands of years ago.
Times have changed, expecially for those of us who have matured and
consider that there should be no gender discrimination.

I agree with you as far as discrimination by humans goes. ?However, as a
"matured" person, you should be the first to recognize that gender roles
are assigned by nature. ?Physiology shows the best examples of such
gender role assignments. ?Furthermore, as a "matured" person you ought
to know what happens when humans violate the laws and principles of nature.

Considering that we are now living in the year 2008, what gender
roles assigned by nature would impede woman undertaking almost any
roll [*role*] to which they aspire?

All roles in society, particularly in the occupations and professions, where PMS, pregnancy, childbirth, post-partum and maternal instinct are impediments to being fully prepared and available 24/7. The superiority of a gender in any aspect over the other is not a point of consideration here. It's simply nature saying, "Woman Warrior, you may not participate in a cavalry charge while suckling your young, ..." and in many cases, "... the young of others." The cavalry is therefore deprived of the services of Woman Warrior for a prolonged period. And the scenario gets worse if Woman Warrior happens to be the cavalry commander, or more worse, the Stables & Logistics Officer.

I note with delight your use of "almost." Proves my point.

The greatest impediment is possibily due to male dominance as
prescribed by outdated, so called religious agendas rather than any
natural assignment.

More like societal rather than religious. Society is a slice of mankind collectively adopting themselves to the environment that nature assigned to them, whether it be ice, sand, jungle, tropics, mountains or New York City. The rules are basically the same as they were B.C. as they are today. As an aside, Islam is an offshoot of mankind adopting to the harsh conditions of the desert, in the same way that mankind developed black skins among some of its members who got assigned to Africa.

And again, I note with delight your use of "possibily" [sic]. Proves my point.
