When you accidentally bump into someone (or they into you) you say excuse
me... I beg your pardon... pardon me.... etc right?
Manners dear man... they don't reflect a judgment of guilt or lack thereof-
and when stated a specific way can mean something other than what is
believed- in this case the apology wasn't for "issuing" orders but for "any
misunderstanding" - clearly indicating that what is claimed is not agreed to
but that one accepts responsibility for not being clearer LOL
It's not what is said but how it's said !!!!
