well if certain people want goodwill then you dont go about it doing

In many cases, military and police are better off not saying anything
and just taking the jabs from the press and people like you who only see
the surface of things. That's usually true when something bigger and of
more importance is going on or about to go on. In other cases, military
victories are published (by the military) as loses, also for the same
reason. Your deekshonari word for today is "DISINFORMATION."

No disinformation from me!

i repeat you dont have to apologize if it didnt happen.

in Panamao town during night time, Sulu Governor Abdusakur Tan said
Monday.

its not disinformation[ filipino citizens and filipino doctors

Yes true Meren and Bongga! However the Americans have apologized,
restored the normal circumstances and admitted errors of judgment.
"Hopefully" lessons have been learned.

My interpretation of the issue is that The Yanks had some concerns and
took actions to address these concerns, later with the benefit of
hindsight these measures proved inappropriate. Happens to us all
occasionally.

Americans, as do Filipinos make mistakes. Under these circumstances we
can do two things. Continue to ramble on after the error is admitted
and rectified or learn from this error and strive to improve the
situation.

Bob

more likely someone told the locals that they "should" close down due to the
danger and the locals insisted on interpreting it as an order... and as time
went on they embellished the story- which there's a long history of LOL.
Bottom line when you know locals are sensitive (particularly those with
radical links) you should allow all contacts to be made by other "locals".- Hide quoted text -

Earlier, Dr. Silak Lakkian, chief of the Panamao district hospital,
said US forces led by a Master Sergeant Ronburg have threatened to
shoot anybody seen at the hospital premises after 6 p.m.

"I take back those words and I am apologizing, it's unfortunate but
it
was not really the real intention. Our real intention was to protect
the people but reception (how locals took the order), we were just
misunderstood," Tan quoted Major Eric Walker as saying during a "face
to face confrontation" with Lakkian on Sunday morning.
