OK thanks. At least I wasn't met with silence this time.
Still, to say "everybody else is doing it!" is not much of an
explanation for self degradation.
In fact everybody else is not doing it, only some.
Our choice of words influence our lives more than most people
understand.
And the name you call yourself is crucial, either personally or
collectively, and is having an effect on you.
You are defining yourselves and your tribal group by what you call
yourselves, and your definition of yourselves is a powerful suggestion
in the depths of your minds.
WE TEND TO BECOME WHAT WE CALL OURSELVES.
Does that explain - at least partly - why the so-called "Philippines"
is still a poor country?
I'm only trying to be helpful.
After World War Two, everybody in Germany and Austria whose surname
was 'Hitler' changed their name.
Similarly, I just ask the beautiful people of those beautiful islands
to think about what you are proclaiming to the world by calling
yourselves by that awful name. We tend to become what we call
ourselves.
