That's nothing compared to how bad it is trying to get directions
to go from point A to point B.

They don't think in those terms, it's like they are color-blind to it.
To see this, checkout the street address people tell you for
themself.... "Purok X, Brgy Y, Municipality Z". The underlying
presumption is you are gonna get to the neighborhood, then start asking
around.

I'm in Davao now, a city of in-excess of a million souls. The transit
system of jeeps isn't all that bad. The system for discovering how to
use them, is non-existent. No route maps (yes every jeep has a
single licensed route from the government that it must ply) are
published.

Can anyone name a RP municipality which publishes its jeep routes?!?
