| Anybody can make biodiesel. It's easy, you can make it in your kitchen
| SNIP SNIP SNIP!
There was a recent show in "MYTHBUSTERS" where they were able to used
a filtered used cooking oil without any additive to run a
Mercedes-Benz diesel powered sedan. It ran good but they found out the
fuel mileage was somewhat less compared to a regular diesel fuel.
Nonetheless, if you can get substantial amount of used cooking oil for
free or cheap, who cares about the fuel mileage.
Ask Willie Nelson. His motorhome has been running on fast food
restaurants' used cooking oil and from his own small biofuel plant. His
RV is easy to spot, it's the one spewing fumes that stink like the back
lots of the nation's McBurgers.
I don't know, most people I know if they smell fries, they get hungry.
That is how bio diesel smell like, my neighbor has a truck and a
mercedes running on them.
