That is totally between the woman and her God, throughout history, yes,
even in the bible, women finds ways to abort the babies they carry.
Among Austronesians they hve herbs and tree barks.. etc.. to do the

Did you know that even some animals have abortions when under stress?

way Mother Nature saves the effort of a pregnancy when it's clear that

offspring wouldn't have much chances to survive.
As for humans, it's often that the mother decides for an abortion only

she sees the future of the baby would be dim. So maybe she spares her

baby a

(short) life in misery.


Pigs and dogs were found to have this reaction. You can only find it in
the wold where they actually fend for themselves.



Mammals and birds generally can have this stress induced abortion or
miscarriage. From a biological point of view, it all makes sense: a
pregnancy is rather "expensive" for the mother organism, hence an abortion
will help save resources for a more promising pregnancy when conditions get
better. To give birth to offspring when conditions are bad is a waste of
energy.

Tribal people in the islands (choose one anywhere in the Pacific or Southeast Asia, has herbs to help abort the pregnancy, killing is not even mentioned because this is the farthest thing in people's minds.

I found out that even tribes in South America has their version, in fact everyone if you read some old texts, like in Europe for example.

But always it is for the women, it is not for the men to think about. So this issue if you can even call it an issue is between women and their relationship with God if it even comes up.

Some tribes in the Philippines for example, if they fail to abort the fetus, they leave it in the woods as soon as it is born, if it survives then it is God's will.

In fact, there is an NGO that does nothing but pick up the babies left in the woods.
