I recently visited Berlin and instantly liked the city so much that I
wanted to come back for a longer stay. Although I was only there for a
day trip I found it very enjoyable and exciting. The Berliners I met
were friendly and warm.

Glad to hear that. Maybe people just responded to your inborn Pinoy
friendliness. ;-)
If you happened to visit the city during the soccer world championship,
don't think it is ALWAYS like that. People had been in an exceptional happy
mood during therse days.

We hit the typical stops: the wall, Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Cathedral,
Checkpoint Charlie, Kaiser Cathedral, Babel Square, Pergamon, river
cruise near the train station.


A lot of stuff for a one day visit! Next time if you come to Germany, spend
some days in Heidelberg. It's even better than Berlin, and you will enjoy a
sightseeing tour guided by a Filipino-loving guide. She even knows how to
point to the famous castle with her lips. ;-)
