The hospital probably has a history of treating nonpayers and is
worried about covering its operating costs. Absent the history of
treating nonpayers, the story would probably have been different.

champion, Man­ny Pacquiao, is contemplating charges against a private
hospital here who allegedly refused to treat his dying relative.
