It was Afghanistan for me, and there were several translators, educators and doctors with my group. We went through extensive first aid training and doctors were well trained in it, but they have to go through it, and I had gone through it several times before.
I actually picked up updated info on making sure the wounded don't die, the doctors were liberals, my job is just to make sure my machine works for the benefit of Americans and no drugs gets out to the market.
Overall, the experience is interesting.
