Anting-anting:
Everywhere I go, when I started wearing what my wife gave me I got wows
from Mexicans as well as other Southeast Asians, everyone having
different cultures, religion and background commenting on its "Power" in
protecting the wearer, including the little red bag of "Medicine".
Sometimes I wonder, how this ended up to be like so, is anting-anting
not just a Filipino thing?
I always thought that it's similar to the wampum of the Native Americans - a
talisman which is supposed to give power and protection. And doesn't the
cross on a golden chain have the same meaning?
