The gathering of support for charter change is not illegal--it is a
legitimate exercise of the freedom of speech by the people.
Moreover, considering the lack of interest our lawmakers have shown during
the past twenty years in giving the people the means to exercise the RIGHT
to change the basic law of the land, it is now up to the people to speak
up and put pressure on our lawmakers to listen to the will of the people.
