Re: People's Initiative And The Supreme Court

Ah indeed. Well, it's okay for me if the only amendment allowed is
to literally only rewrite the words "bicameral-presidential" to
"unicameral-parliamentary" in the constitution. That's okay with
me if it means that all laws will stay the same as it is. Except that
all our current senators and congressmen will all merge into one house
and all become MPs. That's okay with me. The 24 senators will still
continue to be elected at large, that's okay. Doesn't matter
because once they are unicameral, from then on we will have faster
responsive bills. No more slow bills that's very good.

I think perhaps that's the world's first. I mean the RP parliament
will be the first parliament to have MPs elected not because they
represent a district or a special sector but because they are MPs who
are elected (at large) based on their personality alone. Perhaps the
world's first indeed, a parliament with 24 MPs who are elected (at
large) based on their personality alone, 213 district MPs, and a dozen
or two special sector MPs.

And we will still have a president and a vice president. Maybe we can
have snap elections, anyway it's likely that from then on no more
problem with uncertainty and discontinuity anymore. GMA can run again
if she wants. The 24 senators will still be tasked to check the
presidential ballots same laws as it is. And the winning president
will select the prime minister like in the French parliamentary system.
That's good. The important thing is that we'll at last have
faster responsive bills in a unicameral system. Mutual interests
voting is also a check and balance, anyway.

Otherwise if there's no cha cha this year, then everyday, every
month, every year. We can always blame the senate for all the slow
bills, point fingers to them that it's all their fault. Which is not
farfetched to be correct due to some hindrance with infrastructure
issues for example. And every year that will be an issue to all
constituents who are dissatisfied. Hence every year there's always a
seed and fertile ground to pursue a people's initiave, con con, and
con ass with every year a growing support from dissatisfied masses
until the masses are at last satisfied. We will always have someone to
blame and point fingers to always. And if there are some attempts to
install a junta, then people power 4 will ignite to prevent it.
That's it!
