Thousands in Syria enraged by caricatures of Islam's revered prophettorched
the Danish and Norwegian embassies in Damascus on Saturday. Iraqisdemanded
an apology from the European Union, and Hamas called the cartoons "anthe
unforgivable insult" that merited punishment by death.
Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel said "Freedom of the press is one of
great assets as a component of democracy, but we also have the value andPopeye
asset of freedom of religion," Merkel told an international security
conference in Munich, Germany.
In short what we have here is intolerance by the raghead hoards who would
rather kill at any slight, or perceived, provocation than take any type of
rationale action.
The truth is they cannot be reasoned with. Not at all. Period.
I would imagine that death edicts would result from anyone publishing
cartoons in an islamic country.
The global war is going to happen sooner rather than later. It will be the
civilized, and near civilized world against these believers of hate,
irrational retribution, and zero tolerance for anything. I, for one, hope
that no future breeders of this nonsense are left in the aftermath.
Of course I mean that with all due respect, especially to that big-nosed
pedophile self-anointed prophet that started it all.
LOL. You are clever to apply all due respect, because those fanatics are
quick with their death threats if respect is missing! :-))
I think this *IS* the culture clash which was smouldering ever since 9/11
(maybe longer), but now it's getting more overt that Western concepts of
freedom are incompatible with Islamic concepts of religious loyality. My
hope is that Western nations now stick together and stand up for what we
achieved over many centuries - the right of free speech and free press.
Is this conflict noticed in the Philippines? And what do Filipinos think
about it - should European governments apologize to the Muslims for
publishing Mohammed cartoons?
Political Uncorrect Piggy
An Italian journalist is facing prison time for saying what you've just
said... and one in France was even castigated and possibly threatened
with criminal proceedings for stating this.
Read Hamas' creed and the Al-Qaeda creed for true understanding of the
issue... their goal isn't to merely change western civilization but to
destroy it! They have no real intrest in peace or negotiation... in
Iran the leadership belongs to a sub-sect of Shia Islam that openly
professes to believe that the 12th Imam (the perfect one) or Mahdi
(messiah) will appear if they can sow enough discontent and discord...
it is in their belief system ! Furthermore... the new leader has often
stated that their nuclear strategy is a win-win situation... for he
belives that if the UN/West attacks it will cause the Muslim world to
untie and rise up- thus bringing the Mahdi back to life!!! And this is
the mind set we must deal with1
