Dear Gloria Makapagal Arroyo:
Im so happy that you have been elected as President two
times. But, I think you have not working hard enough to improve your
country. Arroyo, you should look around Asia where they moving to
prosperity but your own country is moving downhill. Look at Thailand,
Singapore, Malaysia, and China, they have a rising economy but
Philippines goes backward instead of forward. I know we dont have large
resources like China but you should promote tourism because tourism
creates jobs period. Here are the lists that you consider to do.
One example is look at Carrebean Islands, they have jobs
such as hotels, Cruise, and restaurants because of the investment from
foriegn countries and this is very good. If you are smart enough, you
should creates jobs for filipinos. Look what happened to us, the
foreign investors are running away from us because they are afraind of
crimes, corruptions and especially Abu Sayyaf militants. Instead of
coming to our Islands, they go to Thailand as a result they get hotels,
restaurants, and other tourism sites, which create jobs for Thai
populations.
You should clean up Manila City because it smells and dirty.
You should penalize those who spread dirt on the road because its
disgusting and makes tourist away. Look at Singapore or Malaysia, they
are one of the cleanest city in the world, and we should follow their
policies for cleanliness. Like for example, you should promote
penalties those who did not clean up thier stand , or buildings or
their front home. Also, they should not just throw the garbage
everywhere but for those who loiter should get penalties or go to a
seminar about cleanliness. I remember when Claire Danes was making a
statement on how dirty Manila is, which is really true. Shouldnt you
like Manila as clean city and tourist appreaciate it and keep coming to
us and spend their money? I know I would. Please you should act now
Gloria period.. You should approve a law of penalties to those who
loiter around Manila city. Or, you should promote cleanliness by
publishing it through televesion.
Gloria, you should have laws that it is prohibit people or
children in the streets because it is bad reputation to Philippines.
Instead of letting these children beg, you should put them boarding
school and educate them. See, if you dont educate these street children
they will stay in the street and become criminals and steal anywhere.
We should put these street children into boarding school so that they
become normal citizens and become normal person because they are
disciplined at boarding school. If these street children have a chance
to become normal person, and educated when they get older, you reduce
crimes in the streets. Here is the thing , when I was at Manila city, I
was wearing hats but suddenly a kid stole my hat. What this kid doing
in the streets in the middle of the day? Are'nt they go to school? NO!
they hang around in the streets, steal from people, smoke marijuana,
rugby and tobacco. Why cant we build a boarding house in the quiete
area and put these street children there, educate, feed them, put them
clothes and after they finishes high school , they are on their way for
college and be normal person. Please, this is the only smart thing to
do. Please save these street children away to become criminals when
they become older.
Whats up with the corruption? Promote honesty yeah!!
Or, at least fire those who commit corruption , that' s it. Most of the
corruption happens from the top. You should hire in the office who have
good reputations, and smart politicians. Whats up with the president
who are stupid brain and drop outs? Gloria, I think you are smart but
not smart enough and you are weak.
We want a president who run the country who have confidence, smart, and
have experience in the office. Why should we vote for a president if he
doesnt have experience? Do we think being a president is easy ? NO!
Being a president is not easy . A president makes speeches, travels
around the globe, and makes smart decisions. A stupid president cant do
such a uneasy job as president. The bottom line is being a president is
not easy because you run the country and you stay in the office with a
lot of readings and paparworks.
Here's what you should consider, promote tourism beacuse
this is the only way we create jobs in our country. First, you should
make Philippines as a safest country to have vacation. According to the
travel guide quotes " not to travel to the Philippines because it is
unsafe". We should change our reputation as one of dangerous country to
travel but we should promote that Philippines is a safe place to live
and promote foreign investors to come back through tourism. When I
arrived in Cebu through Cathay Pacific, it was filled with tourist from
Hongkong. I noticed that only few Cebuanos are there in the plane but
full of young and old tourist to stay in cebu beaches. These tourist
from Hongkong is an asset of Cebu because these tourist will spend
money in Cebu , and because of their spending, it is very good for the
economy of Cebu and it also creates jobs in hotels , restaurants and so
on.
To end this, please promote tourism so that tourist will spend their
money to us. If we become the next travel destination in Asia, we dont
have to travel to Hongkong and Saudi Arabia as maids or factory worker,
and abuse by the Saudis Employer. Instead of going out of the country
for work, we can stay in our country for jobs , have our family intact,
and improve our unemployment. I will write you a letter again, and
Gloria, I want you to think about what I recommend to you because this
is the only way we can make a difference. This is not an easy job but
if you have a feelings to make a difference step by step, you can do
it. One of this day when you not in this world, the next generation
will thank you because you made a difference to change our economy, but
if you just sit there in the office and do nothing, what is the purpose
of running as a president? To be a popular? NO! You are not running for
president to be popular but to change our country , a better place to
live... period
.
