For your information, I insult only those with limited intellect who try to
post as if they can actually make a point - those such as yourself. You
cannot make an intelligent point, cannot link, and cannot fathom a life with
more than one facet. You prove it in post after post.

You certainly appear to be fixated on looks alone when you view women. My
most heartfelt condolences to all of the women in your life. I am sure that
the person who first coined the word "shallowness" mean depth of water.
Today it fits those with similar views to yourself.

The all-too-easily bruised Filipino ego and the desire to be something far
beyond what they (you) actually are is precisely why, over 20 years ago, I
looked to foreign lands for my future. It turned out to be the right
decision, as it is for many Filipinas. It was the right decision so I could
support Mama with American dollars; it was the right decision so that I
could have an equal standing with a loving husband; and it was the right
decision to get out of what had become the shell of a country that I have
loved since birth.

It is self-important and self-aggrandizing egotists like yourself that has
destroyed the Philippines. Sorry, it isn't GMA that has done it. It is
people like yourself that believe an uneducated B-grade movie prince could
actually lead a country.

My father labored at Dole so that I could have a good elementary, high
school, and college education. I grew up poor, but my father and mother
taught me that while the world may appear to be complex, it is still very
simple in nature.

I travel back to the Philippines on an irregular basis. It never ceases to
amaze me that taxi drivers, who defer to both of us when my hubby is with me
in the back seat, will try to become my "boss" and argue about the fare when
I drop him off someplace and I am then alone. It is the outrageous attitude
of all Filipinos that women, all women, should kowtow to them, even if they
are the lowest barrio scum - simply because of their gender. My
brothers-in-law have felt the wrath of my hubby more than once when they
tried to "boss" me when I visit back home. I thank him and love him for
that.

.. . . and no, generally I do not suffer fools well. Posting without a point,
or posting baseless tripe is a right everyone has here, but I also have the
right to dispute their posts. I also do not suffer "Martha Stewart
wannabees" very well either. Foo-foo attitudes by women went out of favor
decades ago.

So, back to your nonsense: "plain looking gals tend to say that beauty does
not matter - it's a crutch". Wow. Does that tell the entire world about
yourself. I'm glad I don't know you personally. I am sure there are
thousands, if not millions, of women who feel the same.
