NEW Secrets of Israeli Attack on USS Liberty

The Chicago Tribune has just broken some major new ground regarding the
Israeli air and sea attack on the USS Liberty in June of 1967.

There need be no more doubt that the attack was deliberate. The
Israeli pilots were telling their ground-based commanders that they
could see the American flag. Secret American-recorded transcripts of
Israeli communications prove it. The Israeli pilots asked whether
they were still to attack and were clearly told that they should.
There was NO accident. The attack was deliberate. Exactly why
remains a mystery. And why the US government has covered up the truth
remains a mystery as well. But, we can guess. President Johnson was
furious but frightened.
