Google Groups havas la specialaĵon ke depende de la cirkonstancoj ĝi sendas
laŭ UTF-8 aŭ la alia formato. Se la mesaĝo je kiu vi respondas estas sendita
laŭ UTF-8, tiam ankaŭ via respondo havos tiun kodigon.

Se vi komencas novan fadenon, tiam la kodigo dependas de viaj lokaj
cirkonstancoj. En Japanio la mesaĝo aütomate ricevas kodigon taŭgan por
sendi la mesaĝon en la japana lingvo. En la antaŭa versio de Google Groups
oni povis ja elekti la lingvon (por Esperanto eblis elekti la "araban" por
ricevi kodigon laŭ UTF-8). En la aktuala versio tiun kroman laboron oni
forigis. Tio havas la malavantaĝon ke novan fadenon en Esperanto laŭ UTF-8
vi nun nur tie povas komenci kie la loka lingvo por Google postulas kodigon
laŭ UTF-8.
