Re: Seeking notorious NatGeographic "Pyramid Photo Manipulation" Cover

Here is a site that discusses the as-published fake, but I
am still looking for actual views that were used to create
the composite compression.

Seeking notorious NatGeographic "Pyramid Photo Manipulation" Cover

Some years ago the 'National Geographic' got into serious ethical
trouble when a cover designer airbrushed one of the Egyptian pyramids
into a new position to fit in with the cover text. I'm looking for a
'before-after' comparison of the genuine view and the manipulated cover
image --
but can't seem to get my internet search engines to come up with the
right 'hits'. Does anyone know where such images may be on-line, or
if not, in what hard-copy publication might they be found? This is for a
presentation I am preparing on 'photo manipulation in the early Soviet
space program' -- I want to put it into historical and aesthetic context.

Thanks!

Please email an answer -- I don't visit this site often.
