PL's cheap, imitation cubafaq site axed for violation of terms of service?

No coincidence.
Like many other blogs he took the feed.

No imitation, Dan, you taking the name here is the "imitation".
Yor website isn't called "Cubfaq" it is called "Cuba: siieus and answers".

My Cuba page has always been CubaFAQ.html.

Your cheap, imitation cubafaq website actually had no Frequently Asked
Questions as the name misleadingly suggests. There was no original
material whatsoever. Nothing but copy-and-paste news clippings --
another of your "instant" websites. It seems you chose the name simply
to confuse readers here.

cubafaq website,

Up now I was told.

Sadly, no longer at WordPress.

Note the database now goes back to 2005.http://cubafaq.impela.net/

Why bother? Google News goes back to 1990.

there is the matter of their timing.(snip)-

Idiot.
If someone subscribes to a feed posts are instantaneous.y

What does this have to do with anything? You posted nothing in the
weeks between December 21 and February 3 here, and nothing was posted
at your imitation cubafaq website during that time. Your postings
stopped here; the postings stopped there. And they started up again on
the same day (February 3) in both places with identical postings. This
continued as before for another month -- until WordPress pulled the
plug for what seems to be a violation of terms of service earlier this
week.

Now he got the database.
Lots of third parties use the full - or part of - the feed.
It is a simple process.
People us the feed and add their sources to it or they just go with what
people post in to the feed. Their decisions.

All of your usual sources were up and running in your time off here
from December 21 to February 3. D(snip)

Nope.
Nothing was running at the tome as servers were changed and blogs were
moved.

Bullshit. All the newspapers were still publishing online. Google News
was working as always. They didn't miss a day. Plenty of copy-and-
paste material for you the whole time. And yet nothing from you here
or at this imitation website. Quite a coincidence, no?

You see, Dan, as always the facts confirm what I say.

No, they don't.

When the website was wiped and the standard "404" type message appeared
saying the site was archived (meaning no longer active),

Still in denial, I see. It still says: "This blog has been archived or suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service" athttp://cubafaq.wordpress.com/(snip)

Nope.
Still stating facts.
the text starts saying the site was "archived".

Archived or suspended for a violation of Terms of Service.

and archived it is as there was no violation of TOS, but a move in the
period you indicated above.

Bullshit. For a month after you returned here on February, nothing had
changed -- identical postings once again continued to be posted at the
your cheap, imitation website until WordPress pulled the plug last
week.

After Cubafaq contacted us and shared his expertise the kids decided to
join up and create bigger and better sites.

Yeah, right!

Wordpress.com was no good
venue for them due to technical constraints.

You mean legal constraints.

The kids had a lot of work
in moving and redesigning sites and blogs.

I imagine there was quite a panic when WordPress pulled the plug on
you. Had to call up your "business partners," eh?

Dan tried to
claim the site had been axed for abuse.

I just pointed out the fact that, according to WordPress,(snip)

What the cowardly PL snipped:

(snip)

Replied to and I have shown that this message also is posted for sites
that are archived i.e. abandoned.

You simply made the claim.

They don't say that.
They say it was archived.

Archived or suspended for a violation of Terms of Service.

Yep.
And in this case the first applies as there are no violations.

Again, the message at your old imitation website states:

"cubafaq.wordpress.com is no longer available. This blog has been
archived or suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service."

It seems clear to me that you violated their terms of service. The
blog was either archived with the possibility of some kind of appeal,
or the owner's privileges were immediately suspended and the blog
deleted.

Why would WordPress archive your website if, as you kept saying, the
owner shut it down and deleted it? They wouldn't, of course. And if
what you say was true, why wouldn't they just say the blog was no
longer available? Why any mention of archives and violations of terms
of service? It just doesn't add it, Mr. Lobbyist.

Get back to us when you have your story straight. There are just too
many coincidences to believe that cheap, imitation cubafaq wasn't
yours, Mr. Lobbyist. And suddenly it's not there. Only a message about
some violation of terms of service. Time to come clean, I think. Until
you are able to do so, do not expect a reply from me on this matter.
