What dan Christensen has been running away from in other threads and doesn't dare to address:

The Cuban people face:
- declining imports reducing the 80% of food imported
- declining returns in agriculture due to inefficient state farms, excessive controls on independent farmers and a botched land distribution

The effect on Cuba's people is clear:
- less availability of food in the farmers markets
- less availability of food and high prices in the "divisa" shops
- reduction of theoretical entitlement in the rationing system
- more "failures to arrive" of food that still remains under the theoretical rationing
- constantly increasing prices of food on the "parallel" (black) market where rice is up to 15 peso / lb.

With all of the above the Cuban regime wants to invest in its army.

It is clear people like Dan Christensen care shit about the truth and the Cuban people.
