Cuba’s ‘Ladies in White’ at risk of beatings and intimidation

Editor’s note: Recently, the ‘Ladies in White’ have been stopped from
holding their Sunday protests for three weeks now. The women, who have
held protests for seven years now, were corralled and harassed by a
pro-Castro group last Monday.

You mean by groups of ordinary Cubans who see them as traitors. (snip)

Nope.
Brigadas organized by the regime for which they even call in military reserve and pressure young people to participate (see other posts in this thread) using buses donated by Pastors of Peace to ferry them around

The link Dan gave is indeed a good one:

"Dissidents say they are mobs organised by the government to intimidate those who make a stand against repression and tyranny. They had hoped for a softening of attitude under Raul Castro but a recent Human Rights Watch report said repression continued as before"

Cuban repression has continued under Raúl Castro, says watchdog

Fidel Castro's brother has used new tactics to crush dissent since taking over power, according to Human Rights Watch"

Amnesty International urged Cuban President Raúl Castro to ensure the
safety of a group of female relatives of prisoners of conscience ahead
of a scheduled demonstration (on March 18).

The call came after a protest by the Damas de Blanco (ladies in white)
(on March 17) was forcibly broken up by Cuban police, who briefly
detained several women.

After the incident, some of the women said they had been beaten by the
police.

Like that famous Cuban "blogger" who recently claimed she was
repeatedly punched in the face by a policeman? Her lie was exposed
(snip)

Nope.
your lies were exposed

"Dan Christensen falsely implies that Yoani sanchez was not attacked and that the whole thing was "made up" - again he shows what a desperate liar he is.
