Danny they are LOW compared to all of the western hemisphere except
Haiti.

Compare the quality of life. Cubans are way better off than, say, the
average Mexican. You need only to look at basic health indicators like
the infant mortality rate:
Cuba = 5, Mexico = 29
And Mexicans have not had to endure decades of genocidal trade
sanctions at the hands of the Empire. On the contrary, they have "free
trade" with it!
Cuba's IMR has now caught up to Canada (rate = 5), and has surpassed
the USA (rate = 6).

Danny you are just goofy as hell. In the U.S. we can VOTE OUT the power.
Maybe you missed the FACT that the Republicans were KICKED OUT of power in
the house and senate?

And what happened? Nothing! You still have 1 out 7 Americans with no
health coverage whatsoever (recent US TV program seen here). What kind
of "democracy" is that? And the US still enforces genocidal trade
sanctions to force THEIR dysfunctional system on the Cuban people!
What arrogance!

Sorry Danny it is more like 45%. Not enough but a start. My grandfather
would be heartsick as conditions today.
How heartsick would he be to know that is actually only 12.1%? And
that it has been declining for decades.

Unfortunately, the capitalists crushed workers' dream of One Big Union
to counter the onslaught of cut-throat capitalism and imperialism--
except in Cuba, of course. Cuban workers today remain united and are
steadfast in their resolve not to let the imperialists drive any
wedges between them. This was affirmed yet again in the elections last
week. Must be frustrating as hell for you!
