Vice-foreign minister Rodolfo Sanz assured that the United States was
making a mistake with their statements towards Cuba and maintained
that the "times have changed."
"We aren't going to sit here with our arms crossed before some
diabolic adventure," he said. Sanz assured that the Cuban people can
count on support from nations like Venezuela, Bolivia, and Nicaragua,
among others, stating that "Cuba is not alone."
<SNORE> More Latin chest pounding. What support? Their Air Force? SURE!
IF
they want to lose it!
All they have to do is cut-off the flow of oil, and you'll be sitting
on your ass all day long.
Maybe you are missing the FACT that Citgo is hurting right now. Their sales
of "OIL" in the U.S. is down by more then 50% and dropping. The 7-11 stores
dropped CITGO (HOOOOOOGO OIL). Chavez was threatening MILITARY support.
Which is laughable. Hugo has this idea of himself as a GREAT military
commander. What WAR did he fight in? The ONLY fight Chavez ever got in was
when somebody jumped ahead of him in the chow line! And he LOST that one!
Let's cut the bullshit here. Venezuela WILL have 24 SU-30 fighters by
2008. They have 21 badly aging F-16's at least half of which have very
questionable air worthiness since they can no longer get parts. They have
18 F-5's, not a real good sir combat machine gut GREAT for strafing crows
who protest Hugo. At any point, ONE U.S. Aircraft carrier could launch over
100 combat aircraft.Any SANE person would give the Venezuelan Air Force a
life expectancy of ZERO in combat with the U.S.. And that is even IF
HOOOOOOOGO could get any of his planes into the air. Most likely ALL of them
would be blown up on the ground.
We can turn to that GREAT Venezuelan Navy. This too is interesting. The
GREAT FLEET! Unlikely to get far out of port as HOOOOOOOGO the great
military genius beats his chest! I just LOVE little tin horn DICTATORS who
have visions of themselves 20 feet taller than they are.
Hollow threats? No - Hooogo means it. The end result is getting lots of
decent Venezuelans dead and building bitterness. A heavy price to pay for an
ego totally out of control. Hugo Chavez the warrior? Hugo is like a flea
laying on his back 50 million years ago, with an erection as dinosaurs
walked by saying "
COME ON BABY RIGHT HERE I GOT IT FOR YA!" Laughable? Yeah sort of. But Hugo
isn't the first Latin DICTATOR strutting his stuff is he?
