Yes it is. It's very democratic, probably the most democratic
country
I know of.

Sure. In Cuba you can vote YES or YES to what the Tyrant says, and to
Fred that is democracy.

It wouldn't be democracy if that were true. They can vote any way
they
like and they get a real say in nominating the candidates.

Fred answer a couple questions. Have you ever been to Cuba? Participated
in an election there? Ran as an candidate there? I find it amusing you
CANADIANS - sitting there TELLING Cubans about their elections. And you
don't even flinch at the arrogance of doing that.

Only the Communist Party, no other legal party. This comment is so
outrageous that can only come from a
Communist!

The communist party is prohibited from fielding candidates. They
do
have influence, but it's not by controlling who gets elected.

That is untrue. You can onlybe a candidate IF you are a party member
Fred.

Cuba has essentially removed money as a factor in it's
elections thereby opening the political process up to all the people
just as Dan says.

Cuba has removed freedom from the election process, just like Stalin
did in the USSR and Hitler did in Germany.

There is no basis for this statement. Cuba has elections that are
controlled by the people more than they are in the U.S. or Canada for
that matter.

Fred you really don't know what the hell you are talking about. You
couldn't be more wrong if you tried.
