HAVANA (Reuters) - Cuba signed up to import more U.S. food products
this
week but said payment procedures introduced by the Bush administration
in 2005 were hindering trade and forcing it to make deals with other
countries.
Thanks again for confirming the genocidal intent of the Bush regime.
(snip)
Actually it in no way confirms anything of the kind ludicrous Dan.
Your pathetic attempts to twist the facts is over and over exposed by
your own inability to provide even ONE quote from a reputable
international organization referring to the trade sanctions as
"genocide".
As you well know, groups like Amnesty International, Human Rights
Watch and the UNHRC have documented the criminal US sanctions against
the Cuba people. AI, for example, has condemned your beloved embargo
saying it is "used to harm the most vulnerable members of
society." (AI website) In January, they reiterated their call for the
immediate lifting of these cruel sanctions. In reports actually
critical of Cuba, the UNHRC has condemned your beloved embargo saying,
"It is also impossible to ignore the disastrous and lasting economic
and social effects of the embargo imposed on the Cuban population over
40 years ago." (SCC archives)
Neiether agency has used the term "condemned" not an y SYNONYM for that term
in their statements.
While it may seem like praise for a job well done to you and your
fellow genocide junkies here, to decent people, saying these cruel
sanctions "harm the most vulnerable members of society" is actually
condemnation.
No, I didn't think you would get it. Whatever it takes, right,
Kennykins?
Dan
