In the 2006 epidemic:
Thousands of cases (3000 to 12000 in Havana alone) and reports of up to
65 deaths (40 Santiago, 25 Havana) up to now.

"Reports?" Your sources

BBC, government officials inteviewed and independent journalists.

The report from the BBC Spanish service you refer to was posted 3 weeks ago
(August 25). Nothing in the mainstream media since then about any
"epidemic," not even in the rabidly anti-Cuban South Florida media. Kind of
makes you wonder. As for your so-called "independent journalists" (most
likely in the pay of the US regime), no one takes their "reports" seriously.
They can always be counted on to put the maximum anti-Cuban propaganda spin
on any development there -- like you, eh, Mr. Lobbyist? Only US
government-funded propaganda organs like CubaNet will publish their
"reports."

please. Previously, your "sources" provided wildly inflated numbers
(snip)

Nope.
The government provided "deflated" numbers after trying to cover the whole
thing up then and now.

Sadly, you have no proof to support these outrageous claims. The official
stats of the 1997 outbreak in Santiago were published in a peer-reviewed
journal of the US-based Centers for Disease Control the following year. This
report by Cuban sources remains on their website to this day without a
single retraction. No experts in the field question them. And none support
the wildly inflated figures put out by your fellow propagandists at the
time. And none will support your outrageous claims that public health was in
any way jeopardized by the actions of the Cuban authorities. Prove me
wrong -- we know you can't.

But this has already been thoroughly addressed and debunked in recent
threads on this subject. See, for example, "Dengue in Cubain 2006 even
though Castro claimed the disease was eradicated in 2002" and "Dengue
epidemic confirmed in Havana." If you have nothing new to add, do not expect
a reply from me.
