One hundred prisoners transferred
HOLGUIN, Cuba - August 25 (Liannis Meriño Aguilera, Jóvenes sin Censura / www.cubanet.org) - A hundred prisoners have been transferred from the Combinado del Este prison in Havana to the Kilo 8 prison in Camagüey.
Political prisoner José Daniel Ferrer, an inmate at Kilo 8, said most of those transferred were either in poor health or troublesome disciplinary cases that were transferred to clean up the Havana prison's image for the upcoming summit to be held in Cuba.
