Please cite any independent expert who explicitly supports the wildly
inflated numbers Mendoza was throwing around. Or that the stats on this
outbreak published at the CDC website were somehow falsified. You have been
trying for years, so I won't hold my breath.


The Cuban government never allowed any verification but the minister of
health (Dr. Dotres) and Dr. Kouri (head infectious diseases) contradicted
each other on the victims, no?

You see they objected to him being prosecuted for speaking out and the

The "historical context" is that the Cuban government wanted to hide the
epidemic to protect tourism income.
They didn't want anything to interfere with Expo-Caribe '97.


Again, please cite even one independent expert who will claim that the Cuban
authorities in any way jeopardized public health. We know you can't.
