Like most Nazis, our Mr. Lobbyist here is in denial.

As anyone can verify by simply writing to them (how about it, Little "Miss"
Lobbyist? genocidewatch@xxxxxxx) , their numbers were simply lifted from
some guy's book with no supporting evidence whatsoever to fill in a large
table. They will also confirm that they themselves have never actually
investigated anything to do with Cuba. I don't know why they didn't just
list their sources at their website, but that just seems to be the way they
operate. Maybe it helps with fundraising in Washington and Miami.

At their website, you will not find even a single article devoted to Cuba.
At Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch websites, where you will
find dozens of articles detailing all manner of "allegations," you will not
find anything to support your outrageous claims here. What they WILL
support, however, is the fact that the US embargo continues to cause much
suffering in Cuba (previous posting). All in a day's work, right, Mr.
Lobbyist?

Here is what HRW, as long ago as 1989, had to say about the exaggerated
claims of your political masters in Miami and Washington (no doubt the
ultimate source of these outrageous claims):

"Although the U.N. Human Rights Commission is an exceedingly political body,
the political mix that led to an effective suspension of scrutiny of Cuban
rights practices was in at least two respects a product of the continuing
ideological strains in U.S. human rights policy toward Cuba. First, because
the Commission's initial decision to review human rights in Cuba was due in
large part to exaggerated U.S. charges of ongoing political executions,
disappearances and torture, it became difficult to sustain that scrutiny
when the U.N. delegation to Cuba found no evidence to support those
allegations...."

As for the rest of your pathetic posting, again, you refuse to address these
crimes against humanity (above) in which you, as a propagandist and
self-proclaimed lobbyist, are fully complicit. Instead, you prefer to lash
out with your pathetic attempts to discredit me -- each themselves recently
discredited and debunked at SCC. (See, for example, the thread "Top
Official: US Wants Cuba 'Liberation'" where our Mr. Lobbyist here obligingly
runs through almost his entire repertoire of desperate lies, distortions and
evasions (including those here) at:

http://groups-beta.google.com/group/soc.culture.cuba/browse_frm/thread/1ae3dea90e537555/c9ae6074e5dc9370?q=group:soc.culture.cuba+insubject:top+insubject:official#c9ae6074e5dc9370 )

It obviously means nothing to you to promote these sanctions against the
Cuban people that even Amnesty International must now concede are "used to
harm the most vulnerable members of society." And that the UNHRC says has
had "disastrous and lasting economic and social effects." And that was
BEFORE the Bush regime's recent move to intensify these cruel sanctions! All
in a day's work, right, Mr. Lobbyist?
