It sounds like what happens when you give a bunch of bananas to a
bunch of monkeys. Mayhem is sure to occur. This is due to their
hierarchical nature. Some monkey wants more bananas.

Review human history. The heirarchical order is
extremely plain, the default, how we're wired,
in the bone.

Or do you have illusions we'll somehow "do better"
'cause we're so special and enlightened ... ???

So where's this ILLUSION of democracy fit into our hierarchical
nature. Let the stronger monkey --Gaddafis or Husseins-- rule over
their troop. Why our troop claim superiority? Is it military
superiority?

And yet the Scandinavians, Dutch and even the Germans demonstrate that
they can grow into CIVILIZATION in a short period of time. One thing,
RELIGION IS AN OBSTACLE TO THIS STEP TOWARD CIVILIZATION.

Not.

Of course, this fact can be corrected with proper oversight so no one
goes hungry.

And since WHEN has there EVER been 'proper
oversight" ????????? Name it. I dare you.
Humans -vs- humans. That's what you get.
No "proper" involved. Maybe you should pray
for 'divine' guidance hmmmm ?

Actually there's a lot of people praying --90% of Americans-- for
Jesus to come and end this jungle. Coming soon. ;)

Notice we don't want a perfect state of socialism (1 banana per
monkey) but rather that no monkey goes hungry while there are bananas.

This is HUMANISM.

No ... that's idiocy.

Refer to the models above --even Canada.

The dumbest monkeys ARE gonna starve.

Only because this is a Darwinian system. It could be argued that some
will turn to planting bombs in the face of desperation.

Obesity is killing Americans and Europeans except for a few nations
that are smart enough to be different...

No problem in Somalia then ... must be the
healthiest people on earth :-)

Somalia is not because its institutions are broken down but some other
place is:

Somalia is because of Somalia ... and how humans
are wired.

Don't you dare try to defer blame.

Do we need the Hitler then? Do we need the manipulators like Bush
then? Monkeys do lie too. Very clever --I saw it last night. They cry
"predator" when there's none so they can grab food.

Perhaps if we resisted our monkey instincts toward aggression and
manipulation we can truly evolve. In other words, WE ARE STILL
MONKEYS.
