Of course, the above does not mean China did not fight wars. They did
and
they will do that. But they don't go out to fight war for terroritory
or for self-
aggrandizement.
Tibet, threats to Taiwan.
You are dreaming.
Nah. You are seeing things. Both Taiwan and Tibet was recognized as
part of China long times ago.
It's not that simple, and you know it. But you refuse to admit it. You
repeat yourself over and over again, or quote some long article from
the Western press. One thing you don't do, ever, is make a good case
for your assertions.
Most history books have been doctored, so the winner was the good guy.
If you know more about Chinese history and how the bronze incriptions
were doctored, please inform.
More avoidance of the topic. Are you implying that the history books
in China are all on the up and up, no distortion at all? Riiiight.
Once again, you pretend you are advancing discussion but you are not.
End of story.
Alright, Mr. Know-All ! Prove that the history books you read were not
doctored, and that everything you quote is the truth and nothing but
the truth.
Sigh. You are getting defensive. LT Lee challenged the assertion that
Chinese history books are distorted. He is wrong. They are distorted.
I didn't say other history books *weren't* distorted. I hope you are
smart enough to understand the difference.
If you want to defend China that is fine. But I caution against
defending LT Lee. His defense of China is often irrational and
deceptive.
Let's all see what you have to say about the sovereignty of Taiwan and
Tibet.
These are not a simple issues.
But why are you so interested in my opinion?
Do you think the Jews have the right to occupy Palestine and the
surrounding places to declare them as the state of Israel?
I support the right of Israel to exist. I also support the rights of
the Palestinians to self-determination. This is an extremely complex
issue. I will discuss it but prefer that others are familiar with the
history before jumping in.
I can read between the lines.
Well, you can use at least one English idiom. But I don't think you
are fully able to discuss the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, at least
not in English. Sounds like you are very impressed with yourself,
though.
Self confidence is not necessarily narcissism. The Chinese people have
been treated too long with contempt and disrespect throughout the
centuries. We have had enough - it's time you Westerners show us the
same respect you yourselves expect. We are here to work, compete, and
negotiate with you under equal terms. We will never say that we are
better than you are, but we will say that we are just as good as you
are.
Of course not, because you are old and no longer give a damn. You don't impress me.
And I don't care. You sound young and arrogant.
The other side is called 'evil' and all its bad behaviour is mentioned
in all detail, exaggerated at that.
The own side does the same violations, but only publishes irrelevant things.
Example:
US prison on Cuba, in Iraq, torture, foltering, and,
no report of funerals of US soldiers (nobody ever died?) and lots
or irrelevant crap about Paris Hilton, the Hilton on Paris being one of the
worst hotels I have even been to.
What we need is to occupy China, after it has been nuked, and replace that horrible
Chinese character alphabet by normal ASCII English.
So our computers can be universal, and the Chinese can learn to read and write
a bit quicker.
This will be my first order after I become world ruler ( ;-) ).
The second one will be to have the US kids learn to read and write.
